The idea of craft and handmade techniques has always been of interest to me. I spent the past two years during the Covid epidemic in my motherland of Pakistan learning different embroidery techniques by working with local artisans. I’m interested in placing these practices within the more contemporary context of fashion. These are some of the samples and works I produced during the time.
